June 2011 Show – This summer I have been invited to attend two furniture shows, both in the Mid-Coast area of Maine, Camden to be specific. The first one is the Maine Home and Design show in Lincolnville Point, at the former MBNA campus. I've never done this show, but I hear the campus is breathtaking. The other booths will have some talented craftsmen and I will have a mix of chairs and case pieces. I'm hoping to complete a new bench design, as well as a blanket chest, so keep an eye on the website and blog to see how that comes along. August 2011 show - The Maine Boat, Homes and Harbor Show is in Rockland, August 12 thru 14.  Again, I will have a good mix of my pieces, hopefully some new pieces to keep the show fresh. This show is really l different because they have boats displayed right in the water.  As a fledgling boatbuilder, I'm going to have a hard time staying in my booth. So if your in the area or are planning a trip, again stop in and see my furniture.
